Spunky new Nissan PIXO electric city car debuts for Europe

The all-new Nissan PIXO EV marks the brand’s return to the A-segment, offering up to 259 km WLTP range, a 27.5 kWh LFP battery, 50 kW fast charging and Google built-in connectivity
Japanese automaker Nissan has unveiled the all-new Nissan PIXO, a small battery-electric city car developed specifically for Europe and marking the brand’s return to the A-segment. Designed to make electric mobility more accessible for urban users, the PIXO forms part of Nissan’s wider European electrified line-up and supports its long-term “Mobility Intelligence for Everyday Life” vision.
259 km range and 50 kW fast charging
The Nissan PIXO EV is powered by a 27.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, the first LFP battery used in a Nissan passenger car in Europe.
It offers a WLTP driving range of up to 259 km, with a 60 kW electric motor designed for efficient city driving.
Charging capabilities include 50 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 15–80% charge in approximately 28 minutes, while an 11 kW AC charger comes standard for home and workplace charging.
The PIXO also supports bi-directional charging, allowing energy to be shared with external devices or systems.
Compact size with practical interior space
The PIXO measures 3,796 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width and 1,512 mm in height, with a 2,492 mm wheelbase and a tight 9.9-metre turning circle, making it well suited for dense urban environments.
Despite its compact footprint, the car offers 356 litres of boot space, expanding to 1,221 litres with the rear seats folded, balancing practicality with city-friendly dimensions.
Driver assistance and Google built-in technology
Standard technology includes automated emergency braking, a lane-keeping system and Nissan’s e-Pedal technology.
Connected features include the MyNissan app, which supports navigation, real-time route planning, charging and other vehicle functions.
The PIXO also features Google built-in with Gemini, providing integrated navigation, real-time route planning and connected services.
Developed with Renault alliance
The Nissan PIXO was developed in collaboration with Renault, leveraging the Renault-Nissan Alliance to accelerate development and optimise costs.
The model was designed by Nissan and will be manufactured at Renault’s Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia, supporting efficient production for the European market.
Massimiliano Messina, Chairperson of Nissan AMIEO, said the PIXO focuses on delivering the essential benefits of electric mobility for city users without unnecessary complexity.
European deliveries from 2027
Customer deliveries of the Nissan PIXO are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
