Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT launch in Europe

Kia EV3 GT: 292 PS and 5.7-second 0–100 km/h sprint time

The Kia EV3 GT, the smallest of the three electric performance SUVs, produces 215 kW (292 PS / around 289 hp) and 468 Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.

GT equipment includes semi-bucket sports seats with neon-green accents, Performance Timer, Harman Kardon premium audio, GT Mode, Launch Control, Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control, Preview Electronic Controlled Suspension, Virtual Gear Shift and Active Sound Design.

Kia has not yet announced Danish pricing or launch timing for the EV3 GT.

Kia EV4 GT: up to 537 km WLTP range

The Kia EV4 GT uses the same 215 kW (292 PS / around 289 hp) and 468 Nm dual-motor AWD electric powertrain and can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
WLTP driving range is rated at up to 537 km for the fastback and 505 km for the hatchback.

Kia has also calibrated accelerator response across different sections of pedal travel to provide finer low-speed control, stronger mid-range response and more pronounced torque at full throttle.

Inside, the EV4 GT gets semi-bucket sports seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, black interior trim with neon accents, GT-logo projections, Performance Timer and Harman Kardon sound system.

In Denmark, the EV4 GT will be offered only as a hatchback at DKK 429,999, equivalent to approximately $66,900 / AED 245,700.

Kia EV5 GT: 306 PS and 476 km range

The larger Kia EV5 GT produces 225 kW (306 PS / around 302 hp) and 480 Nm, with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 6.2 seconds.
It uses an 81.4 kWh battery and offers up to 476 km of WLTP driving range.

The EV5 GT also features Kia Pet Mode, which can maintain cabin temperature when a pet is briefly left inside, while locking the doors, disabling interior switches and alarms, and displaying an owner message on the infotainment screen.

Danish pricing is DKK 449,999, or approximately $70,000 / AED 257,100.

GT-specific suspension and driving technology

All three Kia electric GT models receive dedicated suspension, steering and brake tuning for performance driving. Development testing took place across Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the UK, covering both hot and cold climate conditions.

Higher spring rates and anti-roll bars are used to improve body control, while Preview Electronic Controlled Suspension uses a forward-facing camera to analyse road conditions and adjust damping in real time.

The cars offer Normal, Sport and GT driving modes, while Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control uses motor and brake intervention to improve stability and cornering performance. Launch Control is also included.

Virtual Gear Shift and Active Sound Design

Kia's Virtual Gear Shift system simulates gear changes and shift sensations for a more engaging EV driving experience, while Active Sound Design generates audio linked to vehicle speed, acceleration and torque output.

Kia says the GT sound signature uses the vehicle's audio system to simulate the character of a performance engine inside the cabin.

GT-specific styling includes neon-green brake calipers, GT badging, sports seats, dark interior finishes, neon accents and dedicated digital instrument graphics.

Connected features

The EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT also support Kia connected car services, including in-car payments for services such as parking.

Entertainment services include Netflix, YouTube and Disney+, while an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot provides connectivity for passengers. Over-the-air updates can also update infotainment systems and other vehicle functions remotely.

Kia says the new models build on a GT performance lineage that includes the Ceed GT, ProCeed GT and Stinger GT, followed by the EV6 GT and EV9 GT.
