The electric fastback combines an 800V architecture, 12-minute 10–80 per cent charging, a 3,000 mm wheelbase, up to 1,931 litres of luggage space and AI-assisted driving technology

XPENG has launched the P7+ in the UAE, with the electric fastback now available for viewing and test drives at the brand’s showrooms across the country. Prices start at AED 164,000. Described by XPENG as an “Intelligent All-Scenario Fastback”, the P7+ combines coupe-inspired styling with the cabin space and practicality of a larger family vehicle. Its UAE arrival also forms part of XPENG’s continued expansion across the Middle East.

800V architecture and 12-minute charging

The P7+ uses XPENG’s 800V Silicon Carbide high-voltage platform, supporting 5C ultra-fast charging.

According to XPENG, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 12 minutes, aimed at reducing charging stops on longer journeys between the Emirates.

The UAE launch release does not specify battery capacity, motor output, acceleration, driving range or detailed powertrain specifications.

Spacious cabin and large boot

Inside, the P7+ adopts what XPENG calls its Cloud-space design concept.

Equipment includes Nappa leather upholstery, a microfibre ultra-suede headliner and 35 storage compartments distributed throughout the cabin.

A 3,000 mm wheelbase is intended to provide generous rear legroom, while the boot offers 573 litres of capacity. Folding the rear seats expands luggage space to 1,931 litres, accessed through a 1.1-metre-wide opening.

Tarek Bedran, Brand Manager UAE at XPENG, said the P7+ was developed for UAE customers seeking a combination of luxury, space and technology, while being suitable for both daily commuting and longer family journeys.

Tianji XOS and XPILOT ASSIST

Technology includes XPENG’s Tianji XOS intelligent cabin system and the XPILOT ASSIST driver-assistance suite.

The latter incorporates 14 active safety functions and uses XPENG’s Turing AI chip. The company positions the technologies as part of the P7+’s focus on intelligent driving and safety assistance.

Launch comes amid growing UAE EV market

XPENG is positioning the P7+ against the backdrop of continued growth in electric vehicle adoption in the UAE.

The company’s release notes that Dubai recorded more than 40,600 registered EVs during the first half of 2025. It also cites the UAE’s target for electric vehicles to account for 50 per cent of the total vehicle fleet by 2050.

The release also points to expanding charging infrastructure, including a Dubai Municipality initiative valued at AED 150 million to install 600 EV supercharging stations at public parks, beaches and recreational facilities over a two-year period.

XPENG also highlighted fluctuations in UAE fuel prices, noting that July 2026 petrol and diesel prices fell following four consecutive months of increases. The company argues that EVs can offer more predictable running costs for motorists covering high annual mileages.

The XPENG P7+ is now available for viewing and test drives across the UAE, with prices starting at AED 164,000.
