The six-seat flagship plug-in hybrid SUV gets tri-motor AWD with 858 hp, a 41.46 kWh battery and more than 1,100 km of claimed combined WLTC range

Pre-orders have opened in the UAE for the new Geely M9, with an exclusive pre-booking price starting from AED 159,900. Geely says quantities at this price are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The AED 159,900 starting price applies specifically during the pre-booking phase, after which the M9 will move to its regular pricing once the allocated units are sold out. More than 5.2 metres long

At 5,205 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,800 mm tall, with a 3,030 mm wheelbase, the M9 sits firmly in full-size SUV territory.

Its cabin uses a 2+2+2 six-seat configuration, with individual seats across three rows. Geely quotes 88.3 per cent space efficiency, 3.7 metres of usable cabin length and a maximum luggage capacity of 2,171 litres.

The layout also provides a dedicated walkway to make accessing the third row easier, while Geely says third-row passengers retain a clear view of the rear entertainment screen.

30-inch 6K display and 32-inch AR-HUD

Technology is a major part of the M9’s cabin. The dashboard features a 30-inch connected display capable of full-screen 6K entertainment and intelligent split-screen operation.

It is complemented by a 32-inch augmented-reality head-up display, which projects navigation information within the driver’s field of view.

Rear passengers get a separate 17.3-inch entertainment display, while the audio system uses 27 speakers producing up to 2,300 watts.

Six seats with first-class features

The front passenger seat features powered leg support, ventilation and massage, allowing the occupant to stretch out and recline.

Second-row passengers are also treated to a lounge-style experience, with reclining seating, powered leg support, massage and ventilation among the features highlighted by Geely.

Other practical additions include a built-in refrigerator for drinks and refreshments and a folding table that can be used for working or dining.

Geely has also paid attention to the third row, providing a spacious walkway between the second-row seats and positioning the rear entertainment display so passengers further back can still see it.

858 hp tri-motor plug-in hybrid

The most significant confirmation from Geely UAE is the M9’s powertrain.

The local website lists the flagship with 858 hp and tri-motor AWD, backed by a 41.46 kWh plug-in hybrid battery. Geely quotes a combined WLTC driving range of more than 1,100 km.

These official UAE specifications replace the provisional figures previously associated with Chinese-market and overseas versions of the M9.

Geely UAE has not yet published detailed local figures for 0–100 km/h acceleration, pure-electric range, charging speeds, fuel consumption or the petrol engine’s individual output on its current M9 page, so those figures remain unconfirmed for the UAE-spec vehicle.

Pre-booking price from AED 159,900

For now, the headline figure is the AED 159,900 starting pre-booking price.

This appears to be an exclusive introductory price for a limited number of units, with regular pricing expected to apply once the pre-booking allocation is exhausted.

With six individual seats, a 5.2-metre body, tri-motor AWD, 858 hp, more than 1,100 km of claimed combined WLTC range, large-format displays and an extensive list of rear-seat comfort features, the M9 enters the UAE as Geely’s new full-size flagship SUV.

Further details, including the complete variant line-up, standard equipment by grade and regular UAE pricing, have yet to be announced.
