This one-off supercar is based on the F8 Spider, blending a 720 cv twin-turbo V8 with futuristic styling inspired by the F80 and 12Cilindri flagship models

Italian sportscar manufacturer Ferrari has unveiled the Ferrari HC25 at Ferrari Racing Days at the Circuit of the Americas, adding another ultra-exclusive creation to its renowned Special Projects programme. Designed by Ferrari Centro Stile under the direction of Flavio Manzoni, the HC25 is based on the Ferrari F8 Spider and ranks among the most bespoke models ever to wear the Prancing Horse badge. Derived from the F8 Spider, the Ferrari HC25 retains the donor car’s mid-rear-engine layout, chassis and non-hybrid twin-turbocharged V8 powertrain. However, Ferrari has reworked the design to deliver a more dramatic and futuristic interpretation of its mid-engined spiders, reinforcing its identity as a true one-off Ferrari.

Ferrari’s past and future converge

The Ferrari HC25 serves as both a celebration and a transition point for Ferrari’s iconic V8 era. Since the F8 Spider is the final open-top Ferrari to feature a non-hybrid turbocharged V8 in a mid-rear configuration, this one-off supercar effectively bridges Ferrari’s past with its electrified future.

Distinctive design language

The Ferrari HC25 draws inspiration from flagship models like the Ferrari F80 and Ferrari 12Cilindri, combining classic Ferrari proportions with sharper geometric styling. Muscular rear haunches, sculpted wheel arches and a bold stance define its presence in the luxury supercar segment.

A standout feature is its dual-volume architecture, where the front and rear sections appear visually separated by a gloss-black central band. This integrates radiator intakes and heat extraction while shaping the side profile in a functional yet dramatic way.

Hidden door handles are integrated into a solid aluminium blade, while refined proportions reduce the visual weight of the glass area. The Ferrari HC25 design also introduces ultra-slim headlamps with vertical DRLs, giving it a futuristic lighting signature.

Finished in matt Moonlight Grey with a gloss-black centre section, the car contrasts textures, while yellow accents add a signature Ferrari touch. Five-spoke wheels with diamond-finished rims complete the look.

V8 performance remains intact

Powering the Ferrari HC25 is a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 720 cv and 770 Nm of torque, keeping it firmly within the high-performance supercar category.

Paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch F1 gearbox, the HC25 delivers strong performance figures, including 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of around 340 km/h.

The engine revs to 8,000 rpm and uses a dry-sump lubrication system, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions while preserving the character of Ferrari’s V8 engines.

Ferrari Special Projects programme

The Ferrari HC25 is part of Ferrari’s exclusive Special Projects programme, which allows select clients to commission fully bespoke, one-off Ferraris. The process can take up to two years from concept to completion.

Ferrari has produced several notable one-offs through this programme, including the Ferrari SP48 Unica, Ferrari P80/C, and Ferrari BR20, highlighting the brand’s commitment to exclusivity, craftsmanship and innovation in the ultra-luxury automotive space.
