Limited to 20 units, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition celebrates 70 years of Porsche Middle East with bespoke Sadu design, Exclusive Manufaktur craftsmanship and heritage-led detailing

Porsche is marking a major milestone with the launch of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition, a limited-edition sports car created exclusively for Kuwait. Based on the latest 911 Turbo S (992.II), just 20 units will be produced, celebrating 70 years of Porsche in the Middle East.

Sadu inspiration

Developed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Zuffenhausen, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition draws inspiration from Sadu weaving, a traditional Kuwaiti craft recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Dr. Manfred Bräunl, CEO of Porsche Middle East and Africa, described the model as a fusion of high performance and cultural craftsmanship, while Ali Behbehani emphasised its role in celebrating Kuwaiti heritage through modern automotive design.

Exterior touches

Finished in Cremewhite, the exterior combines elegance with subtle motorsport aggression. The SportDesign Package in Black high-gloss, along with Gold ‘Turbo S Sadu Edition’ badging, adds exclusivity, while Sadu-inspired decals bring cultural storytelling into the design.

Other highlights include 20-/21-inch Sport Classic wheels, titanium sports exhaust, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), and a glass sunroof. The detailing doesn’t feel forced—instead, it reflects a well-balanced blend of heritage and performance-focused styling.

Bespoke cabin

Step inside, and the luxury sports car interior becomes the true highlight. The cabin features a two-tone Black and Bordeaux Red leather finish, enhanced with hand-stitched cross-stitching across key touchpoints.

The Sports Seat Plus upholstery incorporates Sadu-inspired textile patterns, while details such as Arabic ‘70 Years’ embossing, illuminated door sills, and a GT sports steering wheel with a Bordeaux Red marker reinforce exclusivity.

Additional premium features include a Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, bespoke key detailing, and a tailored owner’s package—elements that elevate this from a car to a collectible luxury asset.

911 Turbo S performance

Underneath its heritage-driven design, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition remains a high-performance sports car in every sense.

Powered by a 3.6-litre flat-six engine paired with twin electric turbochargers and T-Hybrid technology, it produces 711 PS and 800 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful production 911 ever.

With power sent through an 8-speed PDK transmission and Porsche Traction Management (AWD), the car delivers 0–100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 322 km/h. The electrified turbo system improves throttle response, acceleration, and overall efficiency, ensuring performance matches its striking design.

Further personalisation

According to Alexander Fabig, Vice President of Product & Individualisation at Porsche AG, this edition highlights the brand’s ability to blend individualisation with cultural storytelling.

Owners can further customize their cars through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch programme, including optional Sadu-pattern fabric linings for interior compartments—adding yet another layer of exclusivity.

Other regional exclusives

This isn’t Porsche’s first region-specific model. Back in 2011, the brand introduced the Porsche Panamera 4S Exclusive Middle East Edition, limited to 66 units for GCC markets.

Finished in Carrara White Metallic with a Carrera Red interior, it featured bespoke trim and unique detailing—setting a precedent for models like the Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition.

Final thoughts

Blending heritage, craftsmanship, and extreme performance, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition is more than just another special edition—it’s a celebration of Porsche Middle East history, Kuwaiti culture, and the brand’s future in the region.

With just 20 units available, it’s likely to become one of the most collectible Porsche 911 variants ever created for the GCC.
