Created in collaboration with Mulliner and satirical luxury persona Gstaad Guy, the limited-edition Bentley Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition blends Alpine-inspired luxury with a hand-finished Light Tudor Grey exterior, Saddle leather cabin, tweed detailing, and bespoke chalet-themed embroidery

Bentley Motors has unveiled the Bentley Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, a unique collaboration between its bespoke division Mulliner and lifestyle persona Gstaad Guy. Designed as the ultimate Alpine companion, this limited-edition SUV brings together traditional craftsmanship and modern luxury, inspired by the calm, understated elegance of mountain living. Built on the Bentley Bentayga EWB Azure, the Chalet Edition places a strong focus on comfort, wellness, and refined luxury, reflecting a lifestyle that values experience over excess. It also marks the first time Gstaad Guy’s signature aesthetic has been translated into a production-ready automotive design.

Gstaad Guy does Bentayga

Created by British entrepreneur Conor Moore, Gstaad Guy has built a following around satirical takes on ultra-luxury lifestyles, from private jets to ski resorts and “old money” culture.

With the Bentley Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, that same philosophy of quiet luxury and subtle opulence finds its way into a vehicle. Instead of bold, attention-grabbing elements, the focus here is on craftsmanship, detail, and a sense of calm, much like the Alpine destinations that inspired it.

A chalet on wheels

Step inside the Bentley Bentayga Chalet Edition, and the Alpine inspiration becomes immediately clear. The cabin is designed to feel like a luxury mountain retreat, featuring Saddle leather upholstery, tweed inserts, and diamond quilting, all brought together with warm Liquid Amber wood veneers.

Four individual comfort seats are designed for long-distance travel, reducing fatigue while maintaining a relaxed seating posture. A rear centre console enhances passenger comfort, turning the SUV into a true long-haul luxury cruiser.

Attention to detail is where this model truly stands out. From Alpine flower embroidery to laser-etched Gstaad Guy emblems and chalet-themed graphics, every element feels carefully considered. Even the Naim for Bentley audio system is seamlessly integrated, with speaker grilles finished in matching Saddle tones.

Official statement

Gstaad Guy explains the vision behind the project:

“When I story-tell through my ‘Gstaad Guy’, I think of a real-life Gstaad ‘guy’. A connoisseur seeking the best experiences from travel to transport. And since a Mulliner Bentley Bentayga is the best option for that lifestyle, it became the natural choice. That’s how The Chalet Bentayga was born.”

Hugo R. Chizlett, Lead Designer at Bentley Mulliner, adds:

“The Chalet Edition reflects a very clear vision. It’s about craftsmanship, materials, and atmosphere rather than making bold statements. Every detail has been chosen to express understated luxury, the kind that doesn’t need to shout.”

Tailored Alpine styling

On the outside, the Bentley Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition continues the same restrained approach. The SUV is finished in a bespoke Light Tudor Grey paint, applied by hand over approximately 60 hours, a process that highlights Mulliner’s attention to detail.

Subtle bronze accents paired with Fireglow pinstriping add contrast without overwhelming the design. Chalet Edition badging and bespoke treadplates further distinguish it from the standard Bentayga range.

For buyers with an adventurous lifestyle, Bentley also offers optional Saddle leather boot protectors with Alpine embroidery perfect for ski equipment, luggage, or long-distance touring essentials.

Availability and pricing

While Bentley Motors has not officially confirmed pricing for the Bentley Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, industry estimates suggest a figure of around £330,000 (approximately AED 1.6 million).

For context, a standard Bentley Bentayga EWB Azure in the UAE already starts close to AED 1 million before adding Mulliner customisation.

The Chalet Edition is expected to be highly exclusive, with reports indicating production could be limited to just 25 units worldwide, making it one of the rarest Bentayga variants ever created.
