Bentley's flagship sedan gains a cleaner design, a 680 PS hybrid-powered Flying Spur S, expanded Mulliner options and a 21-speaker Naim audio system ahead of Q4 2026 deliveries

Famed luxury carmaker Bentley Motors has unveiled an updated version of its flagship Bentley Flying Spur, introducing a refreshed design, new technology features and an expanded hybrid powertrain lineup. The Bentley Flying Spur 2026 continues to position itself at the top of the ultra-luxury sedan segment, combining handcrafted detailing with electrified performance.

Design updates bring a cleaner look

The updated Bentley Flying Spur facelift introduces several exterior changes aimed at improving visual clarity and modern appeal.

Most notably, the model adopts single front headlamps for the first time on a Bentley sedan since 1962. The redesigned front fascia integrates the radiator grille into the bumper, while the headlamp graphics and front wing surfaces have been simplified.

At the rear, revisions include a redesigned boot lid, new taillamps and a body-coloured number plate surround. New 22-inch wheel designs are also available on Azure and S variants, aligning the sedan with Bentley’s latest design language seen on the Continental GT range.

Flying Spur S returns with hybrid performance

A key addition to the range is the return of the Bentley Flying Spur S, now equipped with a high-performance hybrid powertrain.

The system produces 680 PS and 930 Nm, representing a significant increase over previous Flying Spur S models. According to Bentley, the sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 307 km/h.

The model is supported by Bentley’s latest Performance Active Chassis, which incorporates Active All-Wheel Drive, torque vectoring, twin-valve dampers and the 48V Bentley Dynamic Ride system. An electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) is also introduced on the Flying Spur S for the first time.

Exterior differentiation for the S variant includes Bentley’s Blackline Specification, featuring gloss-black detailing across the grille, badging, mirror caps and exhaust finishers.

Interior craftsmanship and new seat options

Inside, the Bentley Flying Spur interior continues to emphasise handcrafted luxury, with production carried out at the brand’s facility in Crewe.

Customers can choose from five seat designs, each requiring approximately 12 hours of hand-finishing. The seats are available with fluted or quilted patterns, designed to enhance comfort while maintaining Bentley’s signature detailing.

Mulliner Virtuoso Collection expands

Bentley has also extended its Mulliner Virtuoso Collection to the Flying Spur, offering three themes: Soprano, Tenor and Bass.

Each configuration features bespoke materials, embroidered detailing and Champagne Gold accents applied across both exterior and interior components. These include badges, exhaust finishers, trim elements and key detailing.

21-speaker Naim audio system introduced

The updated model introduces a new Naim for Mulliner audio system, featuring 21 speakers and advanced acoustic technologies.

Bentley states that the system incorporates innovations derived from high-end loudspeaker engineering, delivering improved sound clarity and distribution throughout the cabin.

New exterior colour and availability

A new Dark Teal metallic finish has been added to the colour palette, combining deep blue and green tones.

Production of the Bentley Flying Spur 2026 is scheduled to begin at Bentley’s Crewe factory in September 2026. Customer deliveries are expected to commence in the fourth quarter of the year. Orders are currently open, with regional pricing, including GCC markets, yet to be announced.
