Limited to 100 examples for Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland, the Alpine-inspired GT3 Bergsport combines the 911 GT3 Touring Package with exclusive colours, lightweight performance components and bespoke Porsche interior detailing

German sports and luxury automaker Porsche has revealed the 911 GT3 Bergsport, a strictly limited 100-unit special edition for Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland, based on the current 911 GT3 with Touring Package and created by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Inspired by the Alpine regions and Porsche’s European hill-climb motorsport heritage, the GT3 Bergsport focuses on lightweight engineering, precision handling and strong mechanical feedback, while referencing the mountain roads around Gmünd that helped shape the brand’s early road and racing DNA. The GT3 Bergsport debuts at the Arosa ClassicCar hill climb in Switzerland on September 3, where Porsche Brand Ambassador Jörg Bergmeister will tackle the 7.3 km course, which climbs 422 metres through 76 corners.

Alpine-inspired exterior

The GT3 Bergsport features a bespoke Valleygreenmetallic paint finish developed through Paint to Sample Plus, with gold metallic particles designed to reflect sunlight on Alpine snow and mountain landscapes.

It also includes the Lightweight Package, though forged aluminium wheels replace the standard magnesium items. Finished in satin White Gold and Ceramica, they frame bright orange brake callipers inspired by Alpine alpenglow. A front-axle lift system enhances usability on steep Alpine roads, while a 90-litre fuel tank improves touring range.

Other details include tinted HD-Matrix LED headlights, a 908 Bergspyder-inspired chequered-flag motif on the front luggage-compartment lid, and a GT3 Bergsport B-pillar badge with Ceramica edging and raised White Gold lettering.

A larger engine-cover emblem combines the Bergsport colour palette with four Alpine peaks representing Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland, plus a winding mountain road. Porsche will also release a special Curves Magazine edition limited to 1,000 copies.

Bespoke mountain-themed cabin

Inside, Valleygreen leather covers the folding carbon-fibre bucket seats from the Lightweight Package, while the GT3 Bergsport also retains a rear-seat system for added usability.

Orange stitching and embroidered GT3 headrest lettering continue the Alpine alpenglow theme, with matching accents on the start switch, accelerator pedal, 12-o’clock steering-wheel marker, manual gearlever shift pattern and Sport Chrono Package with Porsche Design GT Clock.

Black-and-white cross-stitching on the doors and upper dashboard forms stylised mountain peaks, while the Light Design Package adds ambient lighting and a BOSE Surround Sound System handles audio.

The GT3 Bergsport badge is embossed on the leather centre-console lid, while the key, leather key pouch and documentation wallet match the car’s bespoke colour theme.

Porsche says the model is not a recreation of a historic car, but a modern interpretation of Alpine-inspired driving values and the technical character of the current 911 GT3.

Matching Porsche Lifestyle collection

A dedicated Porsche Lifestyle collection accompanies the GT3 Bergsport, including 1:43- and 1:18-scale models, caps, thermal travel mugs, Porsche crest key rings and themed hoodies. It also includes GT3 Bergsport skis made by Austrian brand HEAD, due for the 2027/2028 winter season.

The project also highlights Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, which offers around 300 customisation options across the range, more than 230 additional Paint to Sample colours, plus accessories, retrofit equipment and Manthey Kits. Porsche says almost every 911 customer selects at least one Exclusive Manufaktur option.

For reference, Porsche quotes 13.8-13.7 l/100 km WLTP fuel consumption, 312-310 g/km CO₂ emissions and CO₂ class G for the 911 GT3 and GT3 with Touring Package.
