The new package bundles popular options for the Macan and Macan 4 at a preferential price, while the latest model year also brings more standard driver assistance and charging upgrades

German sports and luxury automaker Porsche has introduced a new Signature Package for the all-electric Macan, combining a selection of popular optional extras into a single package for the Macan and Macan 4. Priced at AED 28,280 (approximately US$7,700), the package can offer savings of up to 45 per cent, depending on the model, compared with ordering the included options individually.

Exterior and interior upgrades

On the exterior, the Signature Package includes the SportDesign Package, along with Sideblades painted either in body colour or High-Gloss Black, including matching side-window trims.

Inside, it adds 14-way electrically adjustable Comfort seats with memory, a Bi-Color Leather Package, Porsche crests on the front headrests, a leather GT Sports Steering Wheel and front-seat ventilation.

Technology and chassis upgrades include Matrix LED headlights, adaptive air suspension with levelling and height adjustment, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and LED door projectors.

More standard driver assistance equipment

Porsche is also expanding the Macan’s standard specification for the new model year.

In addition to adaptive cruise control, the electric SUV now comes with Automated Parking with 2D Surround View as standard.

The system can automatically detect parking spaces between and in front of objects. When parking, it can activate the turn signal and take control of the manoeuvre for both parallel and perpendicular parking, as well as assist when exiting parallel spaces.

Further parking functions remain optional, including Remote Park Assist, which allows certain parking manoeuvres to be controlled via smartphone.

Faster wireless phone charging

The Macan’s wireless smartphone charging system has also been upgraded.

The dedicated storage compartment in the centre console can now charge compatible devices at up to 25 watts, up from the previous 15-watt maximum.

22 kW AC charging now standard on GTS and Turbo

Porsche has also increased standard AC charging capability on the higher-performance Macan GTS and Macan Turbo.

Both models now receive a 22 kW on-board AC charger as standard, allowing faster charging from compatible public AC chargers or wallboxes.

The Macan, Macan 4 and Macan 4S continue to support AC charging at up to 11 kW as standard, although the 22 kW charger remains available as an option.

At suitable DC fast-charging stations, all Macan models support charging at up to 270 kW as standard.

The changes form part of Porsche’s model-year update for the electric Macan, combining additional standard equipment with the new Signature Package for customers looking to bundle commonly selected comfort, design and technology features.
