Aston Martin has unveiled the new Valen at Monterey Car Week 2026, introducing its latest limited-production V12 model developed by the brand’s bespoke Q by Aston Martin division. Aston Martin describes the Valen as the world’s most powerful front-engined production car from a manufacturer and the most powerful front-engined Aston Martin in the company’s 113-year history. The Valen follows previous Q by Aston Martin specials including the Valour, Valiant and DBR22, with its development supported by Aston Martin’s new Special Vehicle Operations department. Its name comes from the Latin word “valens”, meaning strong or powerful.
The Aston Martin Valen is powered by the company’s 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, producing 850 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, with peak torque available from 2,500 rpm.
Power is sent through a recalibrated eight-speed ZF automatic transmission featuring shift strategies developed using experience from Aston Martin’s Vantage GT4 racing programme.
Aston Martin claims 0–60 mph in 3.0 seconds, while the Valen’s top speed is electronically limited to 214 mph, equivalent to approximately 344 km/h.
Sport, Sport+ and Track drive modes alter the throttle response and powertrain calibration, with Track mode introducing a more progressive pedal map for greater precision.
Aston Martin says the Valen can be up to 110 kg lighter than its core V12 platform, thanks to extensive use of carbon fibre, aluminium, titanium and magnesium.
An optional lightweight package contributes 16.9 kg of the total weight saving, adding machined aluminium suspension components and titanium chassis bolts.
Standard magnesium wheels are fitted with specially developed Pirelli P Zero R tyres, while Pirelli Cyber Tyre technology provides real-time tyre data to the ESP, ABS and traction-control systems.
The Valen receives revised suspension, steering, braking and electronic calibration, together with a solid-mounted rear subframe, model-specific springs and Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers.
Stopping power comes from 410 mm front and 360 mm rear carbon-ceramic brake discs, while the steering system has been recalibrated to deliver sharper responses and greater agility.
A newly developed titanium exhaust system helps reduce weight while giving the V12 engine a more aggressive soundtrack.
The quad-exit system features 3D-printed titanium finishers, with two permanently open upper outlets and two valved lower outlets that operate according to the selected driving mode.
The Aston Martin Valen features a full carbon-fibre body with slim recessed headlights, a geometric mesh grille, a sharply sculpted bonnet and an aggressive front splitter.
Functional side vents and saw-tooth vortex generators have been integrated into the bodywork to manage airflow and generate additional aerodynamic performance.
At the rear, the conventional rear window and boot lid are replaced by a solid tailgate incorporating an aerodynamic wing. The upswept tail also works as a Gurney flap, while luggage capacity stands at 170 litres.
The Monterey Car Week show car is finished in Satin Andromeda Red. Customers can also choose exposed carbon fibre in satin or gloss finishes, alongside a range of carbon-fibre tints through Q by Aston Martin.
Inside, the Valen features a slim 3D-printed centre console angled towards the driver, with several design elements inspired by the Aston Martin Valhalla.
Customers can choose between Sports Plus seats or lightweight carbon-fibre performance seats, with Semi-Aniline leather, Alcantara and multiple trim combinations available.
Additional 3D-printed components and new anodised finishes further expand the Valen’s bespoke personalisation options.
Production of the Aston Martin Valen will be limited to just 150 examples worldwide, making it one of the most exclusive V12 models in the brand’s current portfolio.
First customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q2 2027. Official pricing and individual market allocations have yet to be announced.
