Al Rostamani Trading Company (ARTC), the exclusive authorised distributor of Citroën and Suzuki in the UAE, has launched the all-new Citroën C5 Aircross across the country. The flagship SUV combines Citroën’s signature comfort-focused engineering with updated design, advanced technology and practical family usability, targeting drivers in the UAE and wider GCC markets.

New design and C-Zen Lounge cabin

The Citroën C5 Aircross features a redesigned, more aerodynamic exterior with the brand’s Light Wings lighting signature, SUV-inspired styling elements and diamond-cut alloy wheels up to 19 inches.

Inside, the C-Zen Lounge concept brings together Advanced Comfort seats and Progressive Hydraulic Cushions suspension under Citroën’s Advanced Comfort programme, aimed at enhancing ride quality and passenger comfort.

A 13-inch HD Waterfall touchscreen serves as the central interface for infotainment, navigation and vehicle controls. Depending on the variant, features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless smartphone charging and Keyless Entry and Start.

The SUV also offers generous rear-seat space, a panoramic opening glass roof and up to 1,985 litres of luggage capacity with the rear seats folded, positioning it among the most practical SUVs in its segment.

180 hp turbo engine

The UAE-spec C5 Aircross is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 180 hp and 240 Nm of torque.

Power is delivered through a 6-speed automatic transmission with Sport mode and steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles.

Performance figures include:

  • 0–100 km/h in 9.9 seconds

  • Top speed of 201 km/h

  • Combined fuel efficiency of approximately 14.1 km/l

The SUV was designed and engineered in France and is produced at Citroën’s historic Rennes manufacturing facility.

Safety and technology

The Citroën C5 Aircross comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety and driver-assistance systems.

Standard features include Active Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Extended Traffic Sign Recognition and Cruise Control.

Higher trims add Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go functionality, along with advanced parking assistance systems for improved urban usability.
