Aston Martin has created the digital-only Dreadnought SUV exclusively for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, combining V12-inspired performance, military technology and the brand’s signature luxury design.

Aston Martin has unveiled the Dreadnought, a virtual military-specification SUV developed exclusively for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Created in collaboration with Infinity Ward and Activision, the digital-only tactical vehicle blends Aston Martin’s luxury design language with military-inspired armour, advanced combat technology and all-wheel-drive capability designed for the game’s toughest environments. Although the Dreadnought will never enter physical production, Aston Martin’s design team approached the project as if it were a real vehicle, exploring how it would perform across urban environments, rain-soaked roads and challenging off-road terrain.

V12 performance meets military capability

The Aston Martin Dreadnought is presented as a high-performance tactical SUV powered by a V12 engine, featuring an in-game soundtrack designed to capture the dramatic character of Aston Martin’s performance cars.

Its virtual engineering specification includes a carbon-fibre structure, military-grade armour protection, aerodynamic optimisation, adaptive combat intelligence and integrated digital command systems.

Infinity Ward says the SUV also features an extended fuel capacity and one of the most advanced all-wheel-drive systems available in Modern Warfare 4. Additional reserve fuel tanks and dedicated weapons storage further strengthen its battlefield role.

The Dreadnought name, meaning “fear nothing”, is inspired by HMS Dreadnought, the revolutionary British battleship that introduced a new era of naval warfare in the early 20th century.

Luxury details remain

Despite its military focus, the Dreadnought maintains key elements of Aston Martin’s luxury design philosophy.

The exterior carbon-fibre panels feature a herringbone weave, while the cabin combines Oxford Tan leather surfaces with a metallic-gold gear selector. Satin Gold door hinges and Chiltern Green paint provide a contrast between luxury craftsmanship and rugged tactical equipment.

Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman described the Dreadnought as an unrestricted interpretation of the brand, created to remain authentic even within the fictional world of Call of Duty.

The development process covered the vehicle’s concept, design geometry, animation, propulsion characteristics and in-game physics, ensuring the digital SUV reflected Aston Martin’s identity while meeting the demands of the gaming environment.

Reaching a new generation

Aston Martin says the project supports its wider brand diversification strategy by introducing its design, performance and luxury credentials to a younger global audience.

Stefano Saporetti, Aston Martin’s Director of Brand Diversification, described the Dreadnought as an opportunity for future luxury customers to experience the brand’s DNA in a new digital environment.

Available in Call of Duty DMZ and Warzone

Players will be able to discover the Aston Martin Dreadnought at selected locations within the DMZ and Call of Duty: Warzone game modes.

The digital SUV will also appear as a full-size display model at Fanatics Fest in New York, where visitors can see the vehicle on the Call of Duty exhibition stand.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches globally on October 23, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC via Battle.net, Xbox PC, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2.

The Aston Martin Dreadnought will remain a digital-only creation and will not become a production SUV. However, it demonstrates how luxury car brands are increasingly using gaming platforms to extend their design language and performance identity beyond traditional vehicles.
