Among the commercial vehicles showcased at IAA Transportation 2026 were three world premieres, alongside Stellantis Pro One NEXT fleet system, CustomFit conversions and a new brand identity

Stellantis Pro One outlined its future commercial vehicle strategy at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, showcasing 13 vehicles from Citroën, Fiat Professional, Opel and Peugeot, including three world premieres, autonomous delivery technology, connected fleet services and CustomFit conversions. Its 1,000-square-metre stand also debuted a new Pro One logo reflecting its shift towards a broader mobility and services ecosystem.

Pro One NEXT targets vehicle uptime

Pro One NEXT, Stellantis’ fleet uptime operating system, uses connected-vehicle data and proactive support to monitor fleets, identify issues and help maximise vehicle uptime. It currently supports around 800,000 connected vehicles, with command centres operating in the UK and US and more planned across Europe.

NEXT is part of a five-pillar ecosystem covering data and connectivity with over-the-air updates, fleet uptime support, financing, rental, insurance and charging services, CustomFit conversions and a global network of 21,000 service points.

New Smart Compact Van

The first world premiere is the new C-segment Smart Compact Van, revealed virtually in June and making its live debut in Hanover. It will be sold as the Citroën Berlingo Van First, Fiat Doblò EasyPro, Opel Combo Start and Peugeot Partner Active, with the Citroën and Fiat versions on display.

Inside, Flexiseat folds the passenger seat to add 0.5m³ of cargo space, while the optional Modutable creates a mobile workspace. Other solutions include Moduwork for loads up to 3.4 metres long, Drive Drawer under-seat storage, Dashbox dashboard storage and a removable Moduconsole. Powertrains include a battery-electric version with up to 270 km of range, two diesel engines and one petrol option, with a mild-hybrid variant following in 2027. The Berlingo Van First offers up to 4.4m³ of cargo space and a one-tonne payload.

Fiat TRIS gets doors

The second premiere is the Fiat TRIS, a fully electric three-wheeled commercial vehicle. Its Cargo Box version is shown with doors for the first time following customer feedback, improving weather protection, cargo security, safety and comfort.

Designed for last-mile delivery and small businesses, TRIS comes in Pick-Up, Cargo, Chassis-Cabin and Flat Bed forms. Stellantis says it can carry more than 500kg and two Euro pallets, uses a 6.9 kWh battery, offers up to 90 km of range, charges from a standard 220V socket and has a 3.05-metre turning radius. A separate Fiat Professional release lists a 430kg European-homologated payload, depending on configuration, while confirming the 90 km WMTC range and two-Euro-pallet Cargo Box capacity.

BOW previews autonomous deliveries

The third premiere is BOW., or Box-on-Wheels, a fully electric autonomous logistics concept developed with UQI Robotics, a specialist in AI, robotics and autonomous driving.

Combining autonomy, electrification, connectivity and services, BOW is intended for urban logistics and goods distribution, as well as controlled environments such as factories, hospitals and airports, including restricted-access and low-emission areas. The project will initially focus on Europe, with other markets potentially following, while outdoor demonstrations at IAA Transportation 2026 show how the platform could handle different logistics tasks.

New trim strategy

Stellantis Pro One is also introducing a new trim strategy across its product lines, designed to broaden market and price-point coverage while helping protect residual values. The range comprises Smart, a value-focused, well-equipped version; Mid-Level, aimed mainly at fleets; and High-Level, for more demanding users. Above these sits Special Series, offering greater customisation and brand-specific character.

Examples include the Opel Combo Tech, with CustomFit Bott flooring, panels, shelving and roof bars, and the electric Peugeot Partner Pro-Skill 4x4, featuring a Dangel four-wheel-drive conversion, worksite package, Moduwork, HD Dynamic Surround Vision, a 10-inch touchscreen and a specific livery.

CustomFit expands specialist conversions

CustomFit combines factory-integrated conversions with more than 650 certified conversion partners, covering everything from minor modifications to complete specialist bodies while meeting applicable quality, safety and regulatory standards.

IAA examples include the Fiat eDucato Fridge, using a new 400V ePTO to power high-voltage refrigeration equipment directly from the vehicle.

The Fiat Doblò Easy Pro gets dedicated flooring, side panels and shelving, with its conversion integrated at the production plant to help improve quality and reduce lead times.

The Peugeot Expert Tech Edition adds an electrician-focused conversion with shelving and a Unibox control system, which can manage functions including infotainment, the roof rack and traffic warning sign.

The Opel Vivaro Dropside, due from the end of 2027, can carry up to four Euro pallets. An Opel Rocks-e is also displayed on its cargo bed as a potential last-mile solution.

The Opel Movano is shown as a diesel three-seat Crew Van CustomFit with a 2.2-litre turbodiesel, while the Citroën Berlingo Van First Fridge keeps its cargo area between +2°C and +6°C for healthcare and cold-chain uses, and also includes airline rails for securing loads.

Citroën is also displaying a Jumper three-way tipper Double Cab, converted at a dedicated factory CustomFit centre for construction, public works and maintenance applications. The factory-integrated conversion is also intended to simplify ordering and help reduce delivery times.

11 new models planned

Stellantis Pro One says it sold 1.65 million commercial vehicles and pickups in 2025, representing around 15% of the global market, with leadership positions in Europe and South America. Under its FaSTLAne 2030 plan, Pro One expects to launch 11 new models over the next five years. Its new logo, shown in Hanover for the first time, reflects a shift towards an ecosystem combining vehicles, connectivity, fleet management, services and conversions.
