Nissan has officially expanded the 2026 Nissan Kicks line-up in the UAE with the introduction of the new SR variant, a sport-focused flagship grade developed in response to the compact crossover’s growing popularity across the Middle East. The Kicks SR retains the model’s practicality, fuel efficiency and everyday usability while adding a more dynamic and driver-focused cabin design. The full UAE range now includes SV, SV+, SL and SR variants, with buyers offered 15 exterior colour options, including six dual-tone combinations. Despite its sportier positioning, the 2026 Nissan Kicks SR does not receive any engine or performance upgrades. It continues with the same 142 hp, 190 Nm 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT transmission, meaning the updates remain primarily design-focused.
Inside, the Nissan Kicks SR features charcoal synthetic-leather seats with sport-cloth inserts and contrast stitching across the seats, door panels and centre console, giving it a more premium and athletic interior feel.
A soft-touch dashboard with a carbon-fibre-style finish and a D-shaped leather-wrapped steering wheel further enhance the sporty character of the flagship variant.
Comfort remains a key highlight, with Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats designed to reduce fatigue during long drives. The compact SUV also offers spacious rear seating, ambient LED lighting and an available panoramic sunroof for added practicality and comfort.
The 24.6-inch Monolith Digital Display combines two 12.3-inch screens, one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system, delivering a modern in-car experience.
A premium ten-speaker Bose audio system is available, including headrest-integrated speakers for both the driver and front passenger. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensure seamless smartphone connectivity without cables.
Externally, the Kicks SR maintains its sharp design and bold stance, with LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and alloy wheels up to 19 inches reinforcing its compact SUV presence.
The 2026 Nissan Kicks becomes one of the latest Nissan models in the Middle East to feature Connected Car Services 2.0, following the Nissan Patrol.
Available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia on selected variants, the system connects via the MyNissan app, allowing users to remotely access vehicle information and control certain functions.
Nissan says this technology enhances convenience, connectivity and overall ownership experience for customers in the region.
Thierry Sabbagh, Nissan’s regional president, stated that the introduction of the SR variant and connected services reflects increasing demand for stylish design, advanced technology and practical urban SUVs in the Middle East.
All 2026 Nissan Kicks models continue with a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 142 hp and 190 Nm of torque, paired with an Xtronic CVT gearbox.
Drivers can choose between Sport, Eco and Normal driving modes to suit different driving conditions. However, the SR variant does not include any additional performance tuning despite its sporty positioning.
ProPILOT driver assistance is available to support steering, acceleration and braking during highway driving, although full driver control remains essential.
The 2026 Nissan Kicks SR comes equipped with a wide range of safety and driver-assistance features, including Lane Departure Prevention, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Automatic Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and front parking sensors.
An optional 3D Around View Monitor provides a 360-degree camera view, helping drivers manoeuvre easily in tight parking spaces and urban environments.
The 2026 Nissan Kicks SV starts from AED 86,900 (approximately $23,660) and includes 17-inch alloy wheels, wireless charging, six speakers, automatic climate control and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
The Kicks SV+ is priced from AED 94,900 (around $25,840), adding roof rails, a Bose audio system, remote engine start, rear-view camera, Intelligent Cruise Control and Connected Services.
The Kicks SL starts from AED 106,900 (approximately $29,110), offering 19-inch wheels, synthetic-leather seats, panoramic sunroof, dual 12.3-inch displays, ProPILOT and connected features.
The top-spec 2026 Nissan Kicks SR is priced from AED 109,900 (around $29,925). The additional AED 3,000 over the SL mainly brings sport-inspired interior styling, contrast stitching, carbon-fibre-style dashboard accents and a D-shaped steering wheel, rather than any increase in performance.
