Italian luxury manufacturer Maserati has unveiled updated versions of the Maserati Grecale, Maserati GranTurismo and Maserati GranCabrio as part of celebrations marking 100 years of the iconic Trident emblem. The refreshed MY2027 lineup introduces more aggressive styling, upgraded Nettuno V6 performance, improved Folgore electric range, expanded variant choices and enhanced cabin technology, reinforcing Maserati’s focus on Italian luxury performance.
Inspired by the MCXtrema, GT2 Stradale and MCPURA, all three models now feature a more pronounced shark-nose front design, redesigned bumpers, updated grilles and improved aerodynamic detailing.
The GranTurismo and GranCabrio gain revised air intakes, air curtains, an optimised front splitter, updated rear lighting signatures and optional gloss-black Tridente wheels that widen the stance by 10 mm.
A broader Fuoriserie customization palette introduces seven new exterior colours, including Green Jupiter Matte, Blu Denim, Bronzo Lucido, Bronzo Matte, Grigio Mistero, Rosso Velluto and Oro Lirico. New badge finishes, exhaust trims, radar housings and interior material combinations further expand personalisation options across the range.
The GranTurismo and GranCabrio Trofeo variants now feature an updated 590 hp version of Maserati’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 engine, delivering a 40 hp increase over the previous setup. Torque remains at 650 Nm, while top speed continues to exceed 320 km/h.
The engine retains Formula 1-derived pre-chamber combustion technology, cylinder deactivation and all-wheel drive, paired with adaptive air suspension and a Sportivo exhaust system as standard.
The range is offered in three core configurations:
490 hp V6
590 hp Trofeo V6
Folgore fully electric
The Maserati GranTurismo Folgore continues to lead Maserati’s electrification push with an 800-volt architecture, a 92.5 kWh T-bone battery and a three-motor setup producing over 1,200 hp peak output and around 760 hp continuous output.
A revised energy management system improves driving range to more than 540 km, while torque vectoring and AWD Disconnect technology enhance efficiency and handling. Top speed is rated at 325 km/h. The GranCabrio Folgore also becomes one of the fastest electric convertibles, reaching 290 km/h.
The Maserati Grecale Folgore also benefits from aerodynamic refinements, new tyre compounds and software optimisation. Range improves by up to 53 km on 21-inch wheels, with a maximum claimed range of 580 km.
Inside, the cabin receives a redesigned steering wheel, an octagonal digital clock, a premium metal PRND selector, updated infotainment graphics and a driver monitoring system capable of detecting fatigue and distraction.
A 12.3-inch infotainment display, 8.8-inch comfort screen, 12.2-inch digital cluster and head-up display continue to define the digital cockpit.
New driving modes include Country mode, which raises ride height by 20 mm up to 120 km/h. Trofeo variants add Corsa mode, while Folgore models gain Max Range functionality. Launch Control is standard across the range, while Folgore Performance Optimizer can unlock up to 10% additional output.
Grecale expands to six variants
The Maserati Grecale receives one of its most significant updates with the introduction of new Grecale V6 and Modena V6 variants, both powered by a 390 hp version of the Nettuno engine. Maserati claims the new setup delivers 32% more torque at 2,000 rpm compared to the 2.0-litre mild-hybrid unit.
The expanded lineup now includes:
Grecale (250 hp mild hybrid)
Modena (330 hp mild hybrid)
Grecale V6 (390 hp)
Modena V6 (390 hp)
Trofeo V6 (530 hp)
Folgore (550 hp electric)
The Trofeo V6 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reaches 285 km/h, with the Nettuno engine delivering a class-leading 177 hp per litre.
The Grecale continues to feature air suspension, a head-up display and a Sonus faber premium audio system with up to 21 speakers and 1,285 watts of output.
Maserati also highlights sustainability improvements through Leather Working Group-certified suppliers and expanded Fuoriserie personalisation options, including bespoke GranCabrio soft-top configurations.
A new digital configurator introduces a photorealistic 3D environment with cinematic 21:9 visuals designed to replicate a showroom experience online.
Built in Italy at Maserati’s Modena and Cassino facilities, the updated Grecale, GranTurismo and GranCabrio mark both the centenary of the Trident badge and 100 years since Maserati’s first racing victory at the 1926 Targa Florio.
The refreshed lineup therefore serves as both a heritage celebration and a forward-looking statement of Maserati’s future direction in luxury, performance and electrification.
