The new-generation Dodge Charger heads to Europe ahead of its official launch with two- and four-door body styles, standard all-wheel drive and a choice of electric or SIXPACK petrol powertrains.

Dodge is preparing to relaunch the Charger in Europe with a multi-energy range combining all-electric Daytona variants with petrol-powered SIXPACK models. Available as either a two-door coupe or four-door sedan, every version receives all-wheel drive as standard. The line-up includes four core variants producing between 420 hp and 670 hp. This announcement focuses on the Charger’s European return and pre-launch preview rather than serving as a full global debut. Dodge says the new model evolves six decades of muscle-car heritage into a modern platform supporting both electric and internal-combustion powertrains.

Petrol and electric powertrains

The petrol range begins with the 420 hp Charger R/T, powered by Dodge’s SIXPACK engine family.

Above it, the 550 hp Charger Scat Pack uses a high-output 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged SIXPACK engine, which Dodge describes as the most powerful production version of the Hurricane engine.

SIXPACK models also feature an on-demand rear-wheel-drive mode that can send 100 per cent of torque to the rear wheels at the press of a button. Scat Pack variants additionally receive Line Lock and Launch Control.

The electric Charger Daytona R/T produces 536 hp, while the Daytona Scat Pack increases output to 670 hp. Dodge describes the latter as its quickest and most powerful all-wheel-drive muscle car to date.

European-market performance figures, driving range and pricing details will be confirmed closer to the official launch.

Familiar identity, modern proportions

The new Charger adopts a cleaner, more modern interpretation of the long, wide and aggressive proportions associated with previous generations.

Both coupe and sedan variants share the same widebody architecture, giving the range a consistent and planted stance regardless of body style or powertrain.

A full-width LED front light creates a distinctive horizontal signature, while the rear features a modern interpretation of Dodge’s classic “ring of fire” lighting design.

The historic Fratzog emblem also returns. First seen on Dodge muscle cars between 1962 and 1976, the triangular logo is illuminated within the front and rear lighting elements and repeated on the wheel centre caps.

Daytona receives aerodynamic R-Wing

Electric Charger Daytona models introduce Dodge’s new R-Wing, which channels airflow through the body to improve aerodynamic efficiency while referencing the iconic Charger Daytona.

Their black lower rear fascia incorporates debossed Daytona and Fratzonic branding, with the latter positioned near the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust.

Petrol-powered SIXPACK versions are identified by a performance bonnet with a black grille-style bezel featuring SIXPACK lettering, while the rear fascia carries a debossed Charger badge.

A limited-run Purple Haze exterior finish joins colours such as Bludicrous, Green Machine, Redeye, Sub-Zero, White Knuckle and Diamond Black.

Cabin inspired by the 1968 Charger

Inside, the new Charger blends a layered dashboard, sculpted centre console and wide digital displays within a driver-focused cockpit.

The interior design takes inspiration from the 1968 Charger, reinterpreted with lighter proportions and modern materials.

A 64-colour Attitude Adjustment lighting system surrounds the cabin and reacts dynamically to different driving events.

Available seating includes Petrol Blue performance leather with Digital Slash perforation and red stitching for Scat Pack models, along with high-backed performance seats in Demonic Red or black leather and suede.

Model-specific badging distinguishes variants, with Daytona branding for electric models and Charger badging for SIXPACK petrol versions.

UAE and Middle East launch

The Dodge Charger Middle East launch, including the UAE, has not yet been confirmed. Regional specifications, pricing and availability are expected to be announced closer to launch.
