The Urus SE Performante is a plug-in hybrid Super SUV with 812 PS of maximum power, 1,000 Nm of torque, a 312 km/h top speed, enhanced aerodynamics, Rally mode and Lamborghini’s new AURA suspension system.

Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has unveiled the Urus SE Performante, the most powerful and advanced version of its plug-in hybrid Super SUV to date, introducing significant upgrades in performance, aerodynamics and chassis technology.

Plug-in hybrid performance

Powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 combined with a permanent-magnet electric motor positioned ahead of the gearbox, the Urus SE Performante delivers a total output of 812 CV at 6,000 rpm and 1,000 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 5,500 rpm. This represents an increase of 146 PS and 150 Nm over the previous Urus Performante.

With a class-leading 3 kg/CV power-to-weight ratio, the SUV accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, reaches 0-200 km/h in 10.8 seconds and achieves a top speed of 312 km/h. The plug-in hybrid system also enables over 60 km of electric-only driving, supported by a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery mounted low in the chassis to optimise weight distribution.

Power is managed through an updated eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive system, electronically controlled central clutch and rear self-locking differential, allowing precise torque distribution and dynamic handling characteristics.

Lighter and more aggressive

The Urus SE Performante adopts a more assertive design aligned with Lamborghini’s “bold sportiness” philosophy. Key exterior updates include a carbon-fibre bonnet with a central power dome, larger S-Duct air intakes, revised front graphics and a more aggressive stance.

Additional highlights include new 23-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels, carbon-fibre wheel arch extensions, a taller rear spoiler and a redesigned rear diffuser. New colour options such as Giallo Crius and Verde Hydra matt further enhance its visual appeal.

Extensive use of carbon fibre across the body, including the bonnet, roof, bumpers and diffuser, reduces overall weight by 32 kg to 2,473 kg. Additional weight savings come from an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system and lightweight interior materials.

Cabin with a pilot feel

Inside, the Urus SE Performante continues Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” design philosophy, featuring Y-shaped elements, red accents and sustainable CorsaTex by Dinamica materials.

The cabin includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a new 12.3-inch central touchscreen, updated infotainment graphics and dedicated telemetry displays. An aviation-inspired control panel and carbon-fibre steering wheel detailing further reinforce the performance-focused cockpit layout.

More downforce, less drag

Aerodynamic efficiency has been improved across the vehicle. Compared to the Urus SE, drag is reduced by 3 per cent while downforce increases by 23 per cent.

A redesigned front splitter reduces lift, while dual carbon-fibre rear spoilers enhance high-speed stability. Additional airflow improvements include S-Duct bonnet vents, fender outlets and enlarged wheel-arch vents, which aid cooling for the hybrid system and braking components. Brake cooling efficiency has also improved by 8 per cent.

Smarter braking and suspension

The model introduces Lamborghini’s advanced six-degrees-of-freedom (6D) sensor system, positioned near the centre of gravity to monitor acceleration, pitch, roll and yaw in real time.

Working alongside predictive control systems, it improves braking precision and responsiveness. Compared with its predecessor, braking performance improves by 10 per cent, while stopping distances from 200 km/h are reduced to under 130 metres.

The Urus SE Performante also debuts the AURA 2K2V dual-chamber air suspension system, allowing independent adjustment of spring and damping characteristics. This reduces body roll by 55 per cent and improves ride comfort by 25 per cent, while a wider track enhances stability.

Road, track and Rally mode

Drivers can select between Strada, Sport, Corsa and the newly introduced Rally mode via the Tamburo selector. Rally mode is specifically tuned for loose surfaces such as gravel and sand.

Additional hybrid-specific modes include EV, Hybrid, Recharge and Performance. EV mode enables over 60 km of electric driving, Hybrid balances efficiency and comfort, Recharge restores battery charge, and Performance unlocks full system output.

Sound, tyres and hardware

The Urus SE Performante features a standard Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, reducing weight while delivering a more dynamic sound profile that varies by driving mode.

The SUV is equipped with Pirelli P Zero tyres in 22- and 23-inch sizes, with Pirelli Scorpion Winter 2 tyres available for colder conditions. For track-focused driving, optional Bridgestone Potenza Race semi-slick tyres are also offered.

Braking is handled by 440 mm front and 410 mm rear carbon-ceramic discs, supported by rear-wheel steering, semi-active dampers and advanced chassis systems, completing one of the most technologically advanced Super SUVs in the segment.
