Porsche Centre Sharjah has introduced the Destination Porsche showroom concept, combining contemporary design, digital technology and community-focused spaces. The refurbished facility was officially unveiled on 18 October 2026, with the all-new Porsche Cayenne Electric taking centre stage at the opening event.

Porsche Centre Dubai & Northern Emirates has officially unveiled the refurbished Porsche Centre Sharjah, introducing the brand's Destination Porsche retail concept to the emirate. The redesigned showroom brings together modern architecture, personalised customer experiences and interactive spaces designed to strengthen connections with Porsche owners and enthusiasts.

The opening event, held on 18 October 2026, showcased the transformed facility, which aims to offer more than a conventional automotive showroom. The new Porsche Centre Sharjah is designed as a welcoming destination where existing customers, prospective buyers and automotive enthusiasts can explore the brand and connect with the wider Porsche community.

Omar Al Mathno, General Manager of Porsche Centre Dubai & Northern Emirates, explained that the Destination Porsche concept aims to bring customers and enthusiasts closer to the brand and one another. The redesigned space encourages visitors to explore Porsche vehicles, interact with the team and enjoy a more engaging dealership experience.

Destination Porsche: A new approach to automotive retail

First introduced in 2019 at Porsche Palm Springs in California, Destination Porsche represents the German sports car manufacturer's global transition towards experience-led automotive retail.

Rather than focusing exclusively on vehicle displays and sales, the concept incorporates flexible showroom layouts, digital media, personalisation areas and comfortable customer lounges. These elements are designed to create a more interactive environment while adapting to changing customer expectations. Individual facilities and features vary by location.

At Porsche Centre Sharjah, the Destination Porsche concept introduces an adaptable showroom design supported by integrated digital tools. The technology enables more personalised customer communication and interaction, while the overall layout encourages visitors to spend time exploring the brand beyond the traditional vehicle-buying process.

Porsche Centre Sharjah opening event highlights

The official opening of the refurbished Porsche Centre Sharjah brought together contemporary art, live music, gastronomy and interactive activities, reflecting the community-focused approach behind the Destination Porsche concept.

Guests were welcomed with traditional Emirati hospitality, including bakhoor and gahwa, before exploring the redesigned showroom and its various experiences.

Organised in partnership with Oblong Art Gallery, the event featured a curated selection of contemporary artworks that complemented the Porsche brand experience. Visitors also enjoyed refreshments at the Porscheplatz Café, live music at the Vinyl Lounge and creative activities at an illustration corner.

The combination of automotive displays, art and entertainment demonstrated how the new showroom aims to function as a gathering place for Porsche enthusiasts rather than simply a retail facility.

Porsche Cayenne Electric takes centre stage

The all-new Porsche Cayenne Electric was among the main attractions at the Porsche Centre Sharjah opening, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the electric SUV up close during its local reveal.

The electric Cayenne range includes the flagship Cayenne Turbo Electric, which Porsche describes as its most powerful series-production model to date. With Launch Control activated, the SUV delivers up to 850 kW (1,156 PS) and 1,500 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

A 113 kWh battery provides a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 623 km. The SUV also features an 800-volt electrical architecture supporting DC fast charging at up to 390 kW, increasing to 400 kW under specific conditions.

According to Porsche, the battery can recharge from 10% to 80% in less than 16 minutes under optimal charging conditions.

The showcase added a strong electric mobility focus to the opening event, highlighting Porsche's expanding electric vehicle portfolio alongside its evolving retail experience.

The refurbishment of Porsche Centre Sharjah marks a new chapter for the brand in the emirate. By combining contemporary showroom design, digital technology and community-oriented experiences, the Destination Porsche concept aims to strengthen customer engagement and establish the facility as a destination for Porsche owners and enthusiasts across Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.
