Suzuki has introduced the Suzuki Across hybrid SUV in UAE, expanding its local SUV lineup through Al Rostamani Trading Company. The new model joins familiar names like the Suzuki Jimny, Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Suzuki Fronx, adding a hybrid compact SUV option aimed at everyday usability.
The Suzuki Across sits in the C-segment SUV category, with proportions that feel right at home in both city traffic and on highways. Measuring 4,360 mm in length, it carries a straightforward crossover design without trying too hard.
Up front, there’s a bold Suzuki grille paired with LED daytime running lights, while the side profile stays clean with a flat shoulder line. At the back, a continuous-style tail-lamp design adds a modern touch.
Practical elements like roof rails, fog lamps, and electrically folding mirrors are included, along with 17-inch alloy wheels. Higher variants get diamond-cut finishes, giving the SUV a slightly more premium look.
Inside, the Suzuki Across UAE model focuses on usability first. The five-seat cabin features a 10.1-inch touchscreen, digital driver display, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which most buyers will appreciate straight away.
There’s also a head-up display, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera, although the base version sticks with a rear camera.
Higher trims bring in extras like ventilated seats, synthetic leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and an Infinity sound system, along with a panoramic sunroof. Nothing feels overdone, but it covers what most people actually use daily.
Powering the Suzuki Across hybrid is a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine, producing 102 hp and 136.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Buyers can choose between 2WD and 4WD, depending on how they plan to use the car. It’s not about outright performance, but about balance.
Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency of up to 28 km/l, which makes it one of the more fuel-efficient SUVs in UAE, especially for daily commuting.
The Suzuki Across UAE launch includes a solid set of ADAS safety features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, and emergency braking.
It also comes with six airbags, TPMS, and a 360-degree camera system. The SUV has received five-star ratings from Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP, which adds confidence for family buyers.
The Suzuki Across price in UAE starts at AED 74,900, going up to AED 82,900 for higher variants.
Like other Suzuki models in the region, it is expected to come with a seven-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty, which remains one of its stronger selling points.
