The limited-edition Renault Rafale Hypnotic is restricted to 1,500 numbered units and features exclusive satin-black styling, Alcantara interior finishes, and a 300 hp E-Tech 4x4 plug-in hybrid powertrain with up to 105 km of electric range
French automaker Renault has unveiled the Rafale Hypnotic, a new limited-edition version of its flagship SUV, based on the range-topping Rafale hyper hybrid E-Tech 4x4 300 hp Atelier Alpine. Production is limited to 1,500 numbered units across Europe, with orders opening on October 1, 2026 in 14 countries. First deliveries are scheduled for late 2026, according to Renault.
Satin Forest Black exterior
The Rafale Hypnotic features an exclusive Satin Forest Black exterior finish, giving the SUV a more premium and aggressive visual identity.
Design highlights include a blacked-out front grille, 21-inch satin-finish alloy wheels, gloss-black roof spoiler and roof trim, and a black Atelier Alpine badge.
Renault says the darker exterior theme enhances the SUV’s sporty, premium positioning compared to the standard Rafale lineup.
Bespoke Alcantara cabin
Inside, the Rafale Hypnotic features a custom Alcantara and textile interior in Titanium Black, combined with blue, white and red contrast stitching inspired by French performance branding.
Each vehicle receives an individually numbered plaque, reinforcing its limited-edition status.
The cabin also includes gloss-black interior detailing, Alpine “A” branding on illuminated elements, and Alcantara trim on the dashboard and upper surfaces.
Standard equipment includes the Solarbay panoramic glass roof, head-up display, heated windscreen and Harman Kardon premium audio system.
The Rafale Hypnotic also features Renault 4Control Advanced rear-wheel steering, a 360-degree camera, hands-free parking assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert and emergency braking assistance.
Comfort features include heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and a driver seat with massage function.
300 hp plug-in hybrid with 105 km EV range
The Rafale Hypnotic is powered by Renault’s E-Tech 4x4 plug-in hybrid system, combining a petrol engine with three electric motors to deliver a total output of 300 hp.
Renault claims the SUV can deliver up to 105 km of all-electric driving range, depending on driving conditions.
A 32A charging cable is included as standard for home and public charging flexibility.
The model also features an Alpine-tuned chassis, combining all-wheel drive, 4Control Advanced steering and adaptive suspension that uses a camera-based system to adjust damping in real time for road conditions.
Limited to 1,500 cars
Orders for the Renault Rafale Hypnotic open on October 1, 2026 in key European markets including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Greece.
In France, pricing starts at €63,550 (approx. $72,600 / AED 266,700), compared to €60,250 (approx. $68,850 / AED 252,800) for the standard Atelier Alpine version.
Allocation will vary by market, with deliveries scheduled to begin in late 2026.
The limited edition will also be displayed at the 2026 Paris Motor Show at Paris Porte de Versailles from October 12–18, further showcasing Renault’s performance-focused hybrid lineup.
