Celebrity actor Jason Momoa has commissioned a highly personalised one-of-one Bentley Blower Jnr from Hedley Studios, with delivery scheduled for later this summer. The bespoke electric recreation features in the latest season of On The Roam, which follows the actor, filmmaker and craftsman as he explores art, adventure and craftsmanship.
The episode, now available to stream, documents Momoa’s visit to Hedley Studios’ Bicester headquarters. During the visit, he met the team, experienced the Bentley Blower Jnr and other creations, and began shaping a project that developed beyond a conventional specification process.
Developed with more than 100 bespoke components, the one-off Bentley Blower Jnr reflects Momoa’s heritage, family influences and creative direction.
The body is finished in a unique Momoa Crimson paint, paired with aged brass detailing across the fenders and wheel arches. These elements are designed to develop a natural patina over time, adding character to the vehicle.
Inside, the dashboard is crafted from Hawaiian Koa wood, a material associated with traditional Hawaiian craftsmanship, including surfboards and musical instruments. The radiator badge and number plate both feature “666”, referencing Momoa’s grandfather, while a “Momoa 1 of 1” plaque highlights the car’s unique status.
The steering wheel also incorporates the On The Roam logo, shared by Momoa and his creative team.
One of the most distinctive elements is a hand-carved brass skull drive selector, machined from a solid block of brass. The component required more than 100 hours of hand-finishing.
According to Ben Hedley, Momoa approached the project with a clear vision, incorporating personal references such as family heritage, material choices and custom finishes. He added that the actor’s involvement made the build a collaborative process from the outset.
Hand-built in the UK in partnership with Bentley Motors, the Bentley Blower Jnr is an 85 percent scale, fully electric and road-legal recreation of the 1929 4½ Litre Supercharged “Blower” race car.
The compact EV is powered by a 15 kW electric motor and offers a claimed range of up to 105 kilometres on a full charge. It is road legal in markets including the UK, EU and the United States.
The project reflects the broader theme of On The Roam, combining traditional coachbuilding techniques with modern engineering to create a highly individual vehicle.
While each Bentley Blower Jnr is hand-built, this one-off example introduces a deeper level of personalisation, integrating elements of heritage, design and craftsmanship.
The custom Bentley Blower Jnr joins a diverse vehicle collection owned by Momoa, which includes classic and modern models such as a Land Rover Series I, Defender 110, Aston Martin DBS and an electrified Rolls-Royce Phantom II.
He is also known for his interest in motorcycles, with a collection that includes vintage Harley-Davidson models, a LiveWire and several custom-built bikes.
The Bentley Blower Jnr commission reflects a consistent focus on craftsmanship, heritage and hand-built design.
The episode featuring Hedley Studios is currently available to stream on HBO Max. Delivery of Momoa’s one-off Bentley Blower Jnr is expected later this summer.
