28 Dubai Metro stations to get Choithrams’ Quickerr stores

Designed for commuters on the move

Unlike a conventional Choithrams supermarket, Quickerr focuses on smaller, quicker purchases for customers on the move.

The stores offer a curated selection of fresh food, grab-and-go options, beverages and everyday essentials, with an easy-to-navigate layout designed around speed and convenience.

The concept is intended to bring the retailer closer to customers during their daily commutes, with a stronger emphasis on accessibility than a traditional supermarket format.

Choithrams CEO Mark Mortimer-Davies said Quickerr represents an extension of the company’s strategy to adapt to changing customer habits, adding that expansion into the Dubai Metro network will improve access to everyday essentials for commuters.

Expansion across 28 Dubai Metro stations

Choithrams has confirmed that Quickerr will expand across 28 Dubai Metro stations through a phased rollout.

However, the company has not yet provided a full list of additional locations or a timeline for completing the expansion.

Quickerr Metro stores will also feature combo offers available exclusively to members of the BOUNZ loyalty programme.

The stores are aimed at everyday commuter needs, whether that means picking up breakfast before work, buying a quick meal or purchasing essential items on the journey home.

Choithrams expands its convenience-store presence

Quickerr builds on Choithrams’ earlier expansion beyond its traditional supermarket format.

In 2022, the company introduced eight 24-hour convenience stores across hotels in Dubai, targeting hotel guests, tourists and nearby residents.

The Quickerr rollout extends this convenience-focused strategy into Dubai’s public transport network, placing smaller-format stores directly along the daily journeys of Metro passengers.
