Mazal has officially launched its digital platform, introducing what it describes as the UAE’s first escrow-protected ecosystem dedicated to buying, selling and trading premium Dubai number plates. The platform was unveiled at a launch event attended by industry stakeholders, collectors, investors and enthusiasts, aiming to bring greater structure, transparency and security to the Dubai number plate marketplace, which has traditionally relied on informal transactions, independent brokers and manual ownership transfers.
The launch event included what Mazal says was the UAE’s first live auction for secondary number plates, alongside auctions for Mazal premium number plates and premium Mazal IDs.
Through the platform, users can browse and list premium number plates in the UAE, participate in live auctions and complete transactions through a secure escrow process. Buyer funds are held once a deal is agreed and released only after the official ownership transfer has been confirmed.
Mazal says listed plates are secured under its custody before being made available for trading, with verified ownership, secure payments and a transparent transaction process forming the core of this number plate trading platform in Dubai.
Mazal has partnered with Transguard to provide cash collection services for customers who choose to pay using this method.
The company says the partnership enhances convenience while reinforcing its focus on secure number plate transactions in the UAE.
The platform also introduces data-driven valuations for premium Dubai number plates, helping users better understand pricing in the market.
Mazal assesses plates using factors including transaction history, market demand, rarity and number patterns, giving buyers and sellers greater visibility into asset values and reducing uncertainty around pricing in the UAE number plate market.
Alongside its technology and transaction infrastructure, Mazal is also investing in local talent.
Through a partnership with TASC, the company is recruiting Emirati professionals as it builds a UAE-based team to support its growth and expansion in the regional digital marketplace space.
Mazal says premium number plates in Dubai are increasingly being viewed as collectible and investment assets.
According to the company’s own market assessment, Dubai’s premium number plate market records around 55,000 transactions annually and is growing by about 20 per cent. Mazal also cites a highest recorded sale of AED 55 million and says the market generated AED 1.7 billion in value over three years.
Mazal is headquartered in Dubai and positions itself as a complete ecosystem for buying, selling, transferring and valuing premium number plates in the UAE, with verified ownership, escrow-protected funds and data-backed pricing supporting transactions from listing through to transfer.
