2026 Nissan Patrol PRO-4X Review

Big, bold, hugely capable and predictably thirsty, the Patrol PRO-4X combines a 425 hp twin-turbo V6 with a refined 8-seat cabin and serious off-road hardware, but those transmission buttons annoy.

Few SUVs are as closely woven into Middle Eastern motoring culture as the Nissan Patrol. For decades, it has been a familiar sight on city streets, family driveways and desert trails, which is why I called it the modern “ship of the desert” in my First Drive piece.Now, there’s a new PRO-4X for the Y63-generation Patrol. Priced from AED 362,900 including VAT, it brings tougher styling and more serious off-road hardware. We set out to see whether it could be the sweet spot of the Patrol range.
