The two Voyah Free patrol vehicles were unveiled by Major General Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue, during an official event held at the department’s headquarters. The ceremony was attended by senior officials from Dubai Police, along with representatives from Performance Plus Motors, highlighting the importance of the collaboration.

Voyah Free EREV Specifications

The Voyah Free EREV operates primarily as an electric SUV, powered by dual motors, while a high-efficiency petrol generator supports the battery to extend its range, reducing the need for frequent charging. This extended-range electric vehicle technology allows for a combined driving range of up to 1,357 km (CLTC), making it well-suited for long patrol duties.

It features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 360 kW (483 hp) and 720 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of around 4.5 seconds. The SUV also includes adjustable air suspension with up to 100 mm of lift, a triple-screen digital cabin, and a practical 560-litre boot expandable to 1,320 litres, balancing performance with everyday usability.

These specifications reflect a broader push towards sustainable mobility in the UAE, combining advanced technology with real-world practicality for law enforcement use.

Official Statements

Major General Al Falasi praised the collaboration with Performance Plus Motors, noting that Dubai Police continues to adopt environmentally friendly transport solutions while enhancing its operational presence across the city.

Mohamed Elzawawy, General Manager of Performance Plus Motors, said:

“This partnership goes beyond vehicle delivery. It is about building long-term collaboration around smart and sustainable mobility. Voyah’s EREV technology offers a strong balance between electric efficiency and extended driving range, making it ideal for fleet operations in the UAE and supporting the transition towards cleaner transportation.”

Dubai Police Fleet

The Dubai Police fleet is already known globally for its impressive lineup of high-performance cars, often featuring supercars and hypercars such as the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Aston Martin One-77, and the hybrid BMW i8.

More recently, the fleet has expanded to include modern electric vehicles and SUVs, including the Tesla Cybertruck and now the Voyah Free EREV. This blend of performance, innovation, and sustainability reflects Dubai’s image as a city that is both forward-thinking and bold in its approach to mobility.
